A Bit About Me

Jacob has been playing hockey since the age of four, beginning his minor hockey career with the Barrie Colts. After a successful minor career, he advanced to Junior hockey at 16, competing in leagues including the QMJHL, OJHL, and NOJHL. Following his junior career, Jacob turned professional, playing one season in Germany and the past three seasons in the United States, most recently finishing the 2024/2025 season in the SPHL with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs. He has also represented Canada at the 2024 World Ball Hockey Championships, earning a gold medal.

Alongside his playing career, Jacob has spent the last four years training young athletes, specializing in skill development areas such as power skating, puck control, shooting, and game-like situations.

Jacob works with athletes in Barrie, Simcoe County, and the surrounding communities, focusing on both individual skill progression and team-based development. Known for his attention to detail and ability to connect with players, he helps athletes build confidence, improve performance, and develop the skills necessary to compete at higher levels.

At Pro North Hockey Training, Jacob leads structured on-ice training sessions, small group programs, and specialized skill development programs designed to help players of all ages and levels unlock their full potential.
