A Bit About Me

Pat brings elite-level playing experience and a strong background in AAA hockey development to Pro North Hockey Training. He played AAA hockey throughout his minor career with the York Simcoe Express and the Richmond Hill Stars, winning three OMHA Championships and competing in the prestigious Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament.

Pat advanced to Junior A hockey with the Pembroke Lumber Kings in Ottawa, earning All-Star Rookie Team honours. He later returned to the Greater Toronto Area to play for the Markham Waxers (OJHL), where he led the team in points and competed in the league’s All-Star Game. Pat was offered several U.S. college scholarship opportunities before ultimately choosing to play at Seneca College on a full athletic scholarship.

Transitioning into coaching, Pat spent three seasons coaching York Simcoe Express Midget and one season with the Weston Dodgers in the NYHL. He has also led several elite summer hockey teams to championship titles, further demonstrating his ability to develop high-performance athletes.

Pat is passionate about hockey training and player development, focusing on skating efficiency, puck control, offensive creativity, scoring ability, and overall hockey IQ. His firsthand experience at the AAA, Junior A, and collegiate levels allows him to guide athletes through the demands of elite competition. With strong ties to the AAA hockey community — including working closely with his own son competing in the GTHL — Pat brings both professional insight and personal commitment to every player he trains.

At Pro North Hockey Training,Pat supports individual skill development, small group sessions, and team-based training programs serving athletes in Barrie, Simcoe County, and the surrounding communities.
